He also claims his first American Le Mans Series Championship victory with Patron Highcroft Racing in LMP1Class, alongside codriver Scott Sharp

2019

The Brabham BT62 made a spectacular racing debut by winning the Britcar Endurance Championship "Into the Night" race at Brands Hatch. Driven by David Brabham and Will Powell, the car secured victory in its very first competitive outing, marking a milestone return for the Brabham name to racing success.

Brabham Esports made its debut in the Le Mans Virtual Series, joining the international sim racing stage and competing in all rounds including the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual

2013

Matt Brabham won the Pro Mazda Championship in the United States, breaking records for most poles, wins, and fastest laps in a season.

2014

Sam Brabham won two races at Thruxton in the British Formula Ford Championship, starting both from pole. His breakthrough weekend placed him among the season’s top competitors. The win came just weeks before his grandfather Sir Jack Brabham passed away.

The beginning

1948

Jack Brabham’s racing debut is at Paramatta Park Speedway in Australia driving midget cars. He goes on to win the New South Wales Championship and Australian Speedcar Championship the following year.

1962

Leaving Cooper at the end of the 1961 F1 season, Jack Brabham officially establishesthe Brabham marque with Ron Tauranac. They begin to build Brabham’s reputation in customer car construction - and will take four Drivers’ and two Constructors’ Formula One World Championships

1966

Jack Brabham becomes the first (and still only) driver to win the F1 Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in BT19 - a car of his own construction bearing his name, powered by Repco’s V8 engine. He is awarded the OBE and Australian of the Year in recognition of his achievements.

1960

Jack Brabham wins his second F1 World Championship at Circuito da Boavista, Oporto in Portugal as a Cooper Car Company team driver in a Cooper T53.

Legacy

1959

Jack Brabham wins his first F1 Grand Prix at Monaco driving a Cooper T51. He goes on to take his first F1 Championship in spectacular fashion at the US Grand Prix that year, pushing the T51 over the finishing line after it runs out of fuel and become Australia’s first Formula 1 World Champion.

1967

Brabham wins the F1 Constructors’ Championship for the second consecutive year in a row and Denny Hulme wins the F1 Drivers’ Championship, both in Brabham cars powered by Repco 3.0 V8 engines.

1970

Jack Brabham wins the South African Grand Prix in Kyalami, driving a BT33. This is his 14th Formula 1 victory, 11 years after his first.

1978

Brabham’s Alfa Romeo 3.0 F12 powered BT46B ‘fan car’ - possibly one of the most radical F1 car designsin history - is piloted by Niki Lauda to win its only race, the Swedish F1 Grand Prix.

Despite suffering heat exhaustion and dehydration in the final race of 1981’s F1 season run in desert conditions, Nelson Piquet wins the F1 drivers’ championship for Brabham at Caesars Palace US GP.

1983

Nelson Piquet wins the F1 Drivers’ Championship, the first with a turbocharged car – Brabham BT52.

1991

Geoff Brabham wins his fourth consecutive IMSA GTP Championship for Nissan in a Nissan NPT-91.

1993

Geoff Brabham wins the Le Mans 24-Hour race with rookies Éric Hélary and Christophe Bouchut, taking outright victoryfor Peugeot.
